Bio

Logan Talarico is a tenor from Phoenix, Arizona. From a young age they were interested in music, starting with the clarinet, then piano and voice later on. They sang in the Phoenix Children’s Chorus, and participated with choral activities and musicals in high school. They made first chair in the Arizona All State Choir in their junior year of high school, as well as placing highly in the Regional Choir every year, and eventually decided to pursue a Music Performance degree with an emphasis in voice at Arizona State University, under the teachings of Judy May and Dr. Amanda DeMaris.

They made their stage debut as Dottore Spinelloccio in Arizona State University’s production of Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, and were most recently seen as the First Priest in Die Zauberflöte by Mozart with Arizona Opera. They have also been seen as a chorus member in Arizona Opera’s production of Silent Night by Kevin Puts, in which they covered the role of French Soldier 3, and are frequently seen performing with the Arizona Opera chorus.

They can also be found performing in concerts around the Valley, including appearances in concerts for Arts at Nativity and the Euphony Ensemble, and they appeared as a soloist in Scottsdale Philharmonic’s 2022 performance of Handel’s Messiah. They are excited to explore the music theatre world as well, having recently appeared in Fountain Hills Theater’s production of Ragtime as Henry Ford, and again in AZ Music Theatre Orchestra’s concert production of Ragtime as Younger Brother. They can be seen in AZ Lyric Theatre’s upcoming December 2024 production of Amahl and the Night Visitors, playing King Kaspar.

When not onstage, they spend their time teaching voice and piano in the Phoenix area, with experience teaching both adults and children. They have also worked as the stage manager and Tour Supervisor for Arizona Opera’s OperaTunity tour, serving over 10,000 elementary and middle school students across Arizona each season.
